The decoration at Yamanoo Bettei Ryokusone was simply charming. The traditional tatami mat flooring and carefully chosen decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the attention to detail and the comfortable setting that made me feel right at home. The hotel's accessibility was also excellent, with convenient facilities and services tailored to the needs of senior guests.
It would have been even better if the staff had been more considerate towards senior guests. Although the children working there were friendly, there were times when I felt they could have been more accommodating and understanding of the unique requirements of older travelers.

We had an incredible time on our romantic escape! The stunning views from our room were breathtaking, especially at night. The comfortable bed was a highlight, and we slept soundly all night long. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and offered a great variety of dishes. We also appreciated the helpful staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. The location was perfect for us, offering a peaceful retreat away from the bustling city.
There was really nothing negative we experienced during our stay. The staff could have communicated a bit more about the included meals, but it was a minor inconvenience that didn't affect our overall experience.

I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location on a hill provided breathtaking views of Kanazawa, both during the day and at night. The staff were incredibly attentive and provided excellent Japanese hospitality. The room amenities were top-notch, with everything from an ironing facilities and a sitting area to in-room safe and Wi-Fi. I particularly enjoyed the free toiletries and the electric blankets, which added a touch of luxury to my stay. The dining restaurant was also impressive, serving some of the best meals I had in Japan.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

This hotel had a unique location, not too close to the city center but it was located on a hill, providing guests with great views of the surrounding area. the rooms were superbly maintained with lovely traditional decorations and regular replacement of towels. the bathroom was modern and had all the necessary toiletries. the service was top-notch, waiters were very warm and welcoming and the chef made delicious and nicely presented meals. they had a concierge who was always ready to help with any concerns we had.
The hotel was a bit challenging to find, and a map could have been more helpful.

The hotel was in a great location, close to many cool spots. the staff was friendly and offered some complementary snacks and drinks at arrival, which made us feel welcome. the spa had a nice atmosphere and we enjoyed the steam room.
The hotel was extremely hard to get ahold of, which made our arrival stressful. They didn't respond to any of our messages or emails about early check-in or local recommendations, which left us feeling stranded.
